Care Team Meetings

Monthly meetings are held between Year heads, Class Teachers, Learning Support coordinator, Guidance counsellor and Management for each year and class group where student welfare and progress are discussed.  This ensures that students are supported throughout the year and that their needs are under constant review with appropriate support being provided through guidance, learning support, as well as social support such as mentoring with a class teacher or other relevant team member(s).  This ensures that issues raised with one member of the care team are shared and discussed with other members of the care team to provide the best possible care plan for the student(s) concerned.

Referrals are made on an ongoing basis for students with academic, personal and social needs both within the school community as well as to outside agencies where appropriate.
