Role of the Learning Monitor

Each year group is under the care and guidance of a Learning Monitor who is in regular contact with the year group, who looks after the academic needs and welfare of the students throughout the year.

In conjunction with the Principal/Deputy Principal, they organise the monthly Care Team meetings.

They meet regularly with management to review progress/or lack thereof with regard to both class groups and with learning issues relating to specific students.

The Learning Monitors liaise with parents by contacting them should an issue arise, making them aware of concerns. They are also a point of contact for parents with concerns.
