On Friday, 19th May, First Years spent a very enjoyable day at Fota Wildlife Park. It was a busy day that began with a team-building module followed by very interesting talks about the animals and a guided tour of the park. Another win for second year students Molly Murphy, Jane O’Brien and Leah O’Sullivan who won Best Adaptability at the National Student Enterprise Awards – students not alone placed in the top 10 in the Intermediary Category across of all of Ireland but won a €150 prize for their Social Enterprise ‘Fidget Bear’, a superb achievement.
Members of our Podcast team, SACSpeaks, took part in a competition organised by RedFM and MTU called ‘Generation Change’. We sent eight of our students to participate in their workshop.
