Judo success

Congratulations to Aimee Cotter, 1C, who participated in a National Judo Competition, The Galway Open, on the 11th of March. It hosted over 200 other judokas, and after some tough opponents Aimee came 1st in her category. Aimee has been in Cork City Judo Club since she was 5 years of age. Well done Aimee!

Cork Minor Camogie panel

Well done to our two 5th year students, Bronagh O’ Shaughnessy and Hollie Healy, on making the Cork Minor camogie panel. They travelled to Dublin on Sunday to play Dublin in the All Ireland Championship. We’re incredibly proud to have two St Angela’s College students represented at inter-county level. Up the Rebellettes!

Minor A Basketball Quarter Final Win

Congratulations to the Minor A Basketball time for beating Regina Mundi in the league quarter-final in what was a hard-fought battle until the end! The

girls showed great endurance and patience to win 24 to 23 points in the end. They will play Coláiste Choilm, Ballincollig in the semi-final next Wednesday. Well done girls!
