Congratulations to Irisha O’Neill, First Year, who has qualified to compete at the Royal Dublin Horse show in August. This is a very prestigious event and we wish her the best of luck.
Raffle to raise funds for the School Musical
A raffle will take place in aid of the school musical next Friday, the 9th of December, for a Christmas Hamper worth €50. Tickets cost €2 each and will be on sale starting tomorrow Thursday at 1:10pm outside the canteen. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to our former Leaving Certificate students Elizabeth Ryan, Emer Bradley and Alison Banbury on receiving scholarships on entrance to UCC.
Quarter-Final of Concern Worldwide All-Ireland Debating Competition
Well done to the senior debating team for representing the school in the quarter-final of the Concern all-Ireland debating competition. The team made a challenging trip to Thurles last Monday evening to compete against a strong opposition, and were unfortunate not to have progressed to the semi-final. They did the school proud!
Purple Cake Sale for Cork’s Sexual Violence Centre
The Student Council held a Purple Cake Sale today in aid of Cork’s Sexual Violence Centre and finished off their International Women’s Week on a high. They raised €470.05 for this wonderful organisation. Well done to all the students on a fantastic day!
