There are typically 2 Higher Level classes and 2 Ordinary Level classes in 5^th and 6^th year. A large proportion of our pupils study the higher level course, and they are encouraged to continue their study of mathematics at third level.

 

Students who wish to change to Ordinary Level are facilitated throughout 5^th and 6^th year. Students are advised to discuss changing levels with Ms Gallagher, the Career Guidance Counsellor, as some 3^rd level courses require Higher Level Maths.

 

25 bonus points are awarded for Higher Level Maths.
