On March 21st the Second year students, accompanied by their teachers went on a cross-curricula History and Geography Trip to Fota House.  Despite the inclement weather, all students braved the rain to experience the formal gardens, the vegetable gardens and arboretum, as well receiving a tour of the house and its servants quarters.  This experience allowed students to understand the difficult working conditions of servants at that time and also to gain a real feel for life in Ireland pre-Independence.
