The Board of Management of St Angela’s College

The Board of Management (the Board) is a body corporate established by the Patron under the Education Act 1998. It manages the school on behalf of the Patron and carries out the respective functions assigned to both the Board and the school as outlined in the Act.

The Board has responsibility for the overall management of the school and acts as the employer of all staff.
Under the authority of the Board, the Principal is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school.
The current Board of Management took office in October 2024 and will serve a three-year term.

The Board operates in accordance with the Education Act 1998 and all relevant legislation; the Articles of Management for Catholic Secondary Schools; and any regulations, directives, or guidelines issued from time to time by the Minister and/or the Department of Education. The Board’s work is always guided by the values and vision of the Le Chéile Schools Trust Charter.
