A belated congratulations to the students who represented St Angela’s College at the interschools show jumping competition before the midterm.
First to compete were Beth Coveney and Fia Furney Kelly, jumping in the 80cm, achieving 3 of 4 clear rounds between them. Their teammates Jessegrace Livingstone and Irisha O’Neill both had two lovely clear rounds giving the team a spot in the very competitive jump off.
Jesse completed the round for the team and though she completed some impressively tight turns to give her the fastest time she was unlucky to have 2 poles down.
Nevertheless, the team finished in 7th place, an amazing result for their first competition together.
Irisha competed again in the 1m individual class. With a clear and very fast round she placed 3rd in the competition. An amazing achievement!
Congratulations to all who competed.
