We are “Celebrating our Catholic Faith” during Le Chéile Day here in St Angela’s College today. We are very proud to be part of the Le Chéile family. On Le Chéile Day, “we are reminded of the meaning of Le Chéile, togetherness, uniting with a sense of community. The Le Chéile Charter captures the spirit in which the founding congregations came together to plan for the future. The togetherness and diversity of Le Chéile is evident in our symbol by the different pathways into a central maze”.
Our reception area is looking especially welcoming this week with lots of colourful posters and bunting. We have had lots of discussion about what our Catholic faith means to us, as individuals, and as a school community. We are very grateful to Sr Karen for speaking to our Transition Year students earlier today.
Some of our Transition Year students have produced a video asking the question “What does Le Chéile mean to you?”, and this can be seen at the following link: https://youtu.be/gZKUFoxxQ2k
