We were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Cork, Dan Boyle, to St Angela’s College today. He spoke to the students about their responsibility for the environment, and ways that we all can make a difference to improve the world we are living in.
Mr Boyle was very impressed with our Bee Hives, and was presented with a jar of St Angela’s College Honey. He in turn presented the school with seeds and a compost bin, to further our efforts in reducting waste, and helping to add even more variety of flowers to our garden for our bees.
