Maths Week 2022 has been a very busy week in St Angela’s College. We had riddles over the intercom every morning, and lots of activities in Maths classes during the week. The Transition Year students planned Maths Bingo and a Quiz for their own year and for 2nd years. They also created an incredible variety of Maths activities for First Years. The school was alive with competitive banter today, as 1A, 1B and 1C battled against each other in a whole range of challenges. The TY students, alongside their teachers, ran an Escape Room, a Scavenger Hunt, a Sudoku and Maths puzzles room, “Ball in a Box”, “101 Points dice game” and “Number Mindmap”. The canteen was full of mini Maths games for the 1st years to try. They included “Honeycomb Puzzle”, “Matz Cupz”, “Maths Maze”, “Ticker Timer”, “Maths Jenga”, “Tangrams”, “5 Second Rule – SAC Maths edition!” and “Countdown”. The first years all had a great time, We are all so proud of all the hard work that the Transition Year students put in to making this Maths week our most successful and fun one yet!
