Our senior camogie team travelled to the Inagh Kilnamona GAA Club in Co. Clare to take on Ennistymon Community School in the Munster Championship, on the 4th of October. St Angela’s played extremely well defensively, but Ennistymon took many scores from distance, leading at half time by 11 points to 1.
In the second half, St. Angela’s rallied massively, challenging the goalkeeper on many occasions, but failing to cross the line until half way through the second half with a goal from Ava McCarthy. St Angela’s continued to pick off points from play as well as a number of frees taken excellently by Meabh O’ Sé. Ennistymon came out as eventual winners on a score line of 1-13 to 1-7.
