Our under 16 team played in the Cup competition and faced some very tough opposition from Regina Mundi and St Al’s Carrigtwohill. They did beat Scoil Mhuire in this round robin but… this year, did not have enough points to reach the finals. Some great tennis was played by Aoife Coleman , Nicole Walsh , Hannah Lynch and Jenny Murphy. They represented SAC very well and must be complimented on their super tennis ability. Thanks also to Sibeal Mcgonagle who was a sub for one of the matches.

U14 teams: This year the u14 shield was a popular competition so we entered 2 teams. The girls were very dedicated and played some terrific matches. They each had one win from their respective pools, and both progressed to the second rounds. However, they were unlucky in this stage and lost two very tight matches. They show huge potential for next year.
The tennis players on our U14 teams were Sibéal McGonagle, Elsa Falvey, Ruth Mcgrath, Cliodhna Walshe, April Sheahan, Georgia Lyons, Elena Courtney, Hannah Daly Murphy and Ciara Sheehan.Well done girls.
