1st year B Hockey success vs Coláiste na Toirbhite 25/04
Dear Parents/ Guardians, I hope you are all well and adjusting to a new remote learning routine. I hope also that your TY daughters are managing to log on to their classes and engage with the material that is being covered. As well as the activity pack that I forwarded to students last week, there are plenty of other activities/ courses that students should work on during this time. These include their English book, Make that Course, Project One Sky and this week’s Photography Competition. There are lots of online events/ courses which have been made available to students. I have recently signed St Angela’s up for an excellent skincare course and for “Healthfest 2021”, an online Health and Well-being event which takes place next Wednesday afternoon. Students will be invited to participate in a Yogalates class on Friday, 5th of February. The “Look into Law” in association with the Bar of Ireland is also going ahead, as planned.
Open University run lots of free, certified courses also, which are certainly worth a look. I am in daily contact with students and am facilitating a Zoom meeting with them today to check in and make sure that all is going well.
Finally, I am attaching an information letter from Ms Gallagher, regarding Aptitude Testing, which is now taking place online, next Friday, the 29th of January.
