Congratulations to Transition Year students Emma Buckley and Bláithín McNulty, who came 3rd in “Appetite for Knowledge”, a competition which was facilitated by the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, UCC. The Project Manager was Past Pupil Caoimhe Shanahan, and it was a very enjoyable day for all involved. Emma and Bláithín focused their project on “Food Waste” which was a real eye opener on the reality of food waste world wide.
Well done to Ciara Buckley, Olivia Foley and Cliona Marshall who also presented today, and spoke on the topic of Genetically Modified Organisms. Both teams worked very hard and gave excellent presentations and should be very proud.
