Visit from a Norwegian School

Our Transition year students were very happy to welcome a day visit from a school in Kristiansand in Southern Norway last Thursday. The 45 students and accompanying teachers enjoyed a full day of activities with our TY students. Including a tea party in the canteen, lessons in Gaelic football, lunch in the Marina Market, participation in many classes and a Céilí beag to finish off the day. Our thanks to Michelle and Emma Horgan (1A and 3B) for entertaining our Norwegian visitors to some traditional Irish music for their tea party! The students and teachers were very impressed by the level of engagement, knowledge and participation by our students in the teaching and learning process.
