As part of their history class, first years have been investigating the lives of people in Ancient Rome, and what better way to consolidate that learning than to take part in an ‘Ancient Roman Fashion Show’. Students worked in teams where they had to design, model and present togas and stolas as worn by the people of Ancient Rome. Each member of the team had a specific role and students worked together to create and present some wonderful outfits.
They thought of everything from head to toe with headpieces and sandals making a comeback for Autumn/Winter 2023! Our two judges from the Transition Year Fashion Module had their work cut out for them, and although it was a difficult decision, they managed to choose a winning team from each of the 3 classes.Well done to all involved!
