We celebrated Le Chéilé Day today in St Angela’s College. The theme this year was “Inclusivity and Diversity”. Students participated in a Poster Competition, a Poetry Competition and a survey on what Inclusivity and Diversity means to them. Second Year and Transition Year students researched their first name and surname as part of the Logainm project.
Other activities included a dance performance by Transition Year students, and a video that was recorded and edited by TY student Hazel Cronin on what Diversity and Inclusivity mean to our staff and students. You can view this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrO9706II_E
Sr Karen, from the Ursuline Order, gave a most engaging and inspirational talk to First Year students about the Ursuline Ethos, St Angela’s teachings, and being the very best version of yourself that you can be. The talk was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The day ended on a sweet note with all students and teachers receiving a sweet treat! We are proud to be a part of the Le Chéilé Schools Trust Community!
