TY Reading Revolution - "The Power of Word" Lecture 2

Last Friday, the TY Reading Revolution group hosted the second talk in our lecture series ‘The Power of Words’. The guest speaker, restaurateur Angela Rutledge, who co-owns Monk’s Green & Olive’s Room, traveled from Dublin to Cork to address all our TYs. A former solicitor, Angela spoke about the power of reading and writing in her school work, college life, early career & her current work, both as a business owner and as a features writer for the Irish Times.
