TY SPRING Project featured in The Echo.
Members of the 2nd Year Student Council launched their Boost Your Business initiative this morning! The idea originated with Lauren Dinan (2C) when she was in 1st Year and was brought to a Council meeting through Abbie Noonan and Jesse Livingstone, who were both members of the Student Council last year. Lauren was inspired by past pupil Emma Coffey, when she came in to speak to students about her own business – Final Bend. The idea is to encourage students who have the entrepreneurial spirit to tell us about their ideas and small businesses and let the Student Council run the advertising and marketing campaign on their behalf. Eva Moroney in 4A is advertising her Cutie Crafts and is setting up a market stall next week at 1.10 in the Canteen. @cutie.crafts_eva The girls are also promoting Aoife Coleman in 2A for her business – Flamingo Designs. @flamingodesigns20 You can view further information on both student’s businesses and much more on the 3rd Year Student Council Instagram page – sac.studentcouncil All other business ideas, from dog walking to cake decorating to poster making to nails and anything in between are most welcome!
