Excitement is building in room 4:05 as we look forward to the market on Friday from 12.30 – 1.50. The 1st year & TY elves have been busy for the last 2 months preparing for the market. They have made beautiful bracelets to sell, along with sweet cones and hot chocolate cones.
On Friday, there will be 20+ stalls, with Fun Club and groups of students selling their crafts and baking. Items on sale include:
* Chocolate biscuit cake puddings
* Cookies, Brownies, Mint Chocolate Bark, Macarons, Whoopee Pies, Cupcakes, Rice Krispie squares, Chocolate Lollypops and lots of other baking.
* Keyrings, decorations, art, earrings, bookmarks, and lots more.
* Christmas cards & Christmas Bookmarks.
The Orchestra will be playing Christmas music to get us all in the Christmas spirit on the day! We will also have some “Reindeer Games”. It costs 50c to enter, and this includes a candy cane, while stocks last!
We would like to sincerely thank all those who donated items to sell on Friday. We received some fantastic donations from brand new games to scarves, candles and photo frames.
We have books for sale suitable from toddlers to Young Adults through to Adults, with prices starting at €1.
Please look through the photos attached, and you can see some of the items we have for sale. There are great bargains to be had for some Christmas shopping!
We are still accepting donations tomorrow and Friday morning.
Please remember to bring cash on the day.
All donations will be going to the Mercy Hospital Foundation, to help children, teenagers and young adults with illnesses. We will donate anything that isn’t sold, after the market.
