On Thursday the 20th of March our school football won our Munster final! The managers of the team are Mr Murray and Ms Mackey. We were playing Scoil Pol from Limerick. We left school at 10 o clock to get the bus down to the Mallow GAA grounds. Due to bad weather our match didn’t start until half past 12. The rain was terrible but there was still brilliant support from 1st years who had went to watch the game. The final score was 8-15 to 3-5! The cup was presented to our captain Gilda Healy and the player of the match award was given to Amy-Rose O’Rourke. After the game we all went to McDonalds for a treat and then went back to school as Munster Champions!!
