Equestrian Win in Sceilig
Congratulations to Fia F. K., 3C, Irisha O’N., 2A, and Jessica C., 1C, who won the team showjumping event on Friday 14th April in Sceilig Equestrian Centre. The team all achieved clear rounds, equaling the score of Boherbue Comprehensive School, but beating them on timing by less than half a second to claim the perpetual trophy. Well done to the team who have been competing as team members and individuals all year in the lead up to this win.
Irish World Dancing Championships
Congratulations to Emer O’ S., 1C, and her Irish dancing school who came runners up at Senior Ladies Figure at the CLRG Irish World Dancing Championship over Easter.
Basketball
Isabella B, 1C, was selected to this year’s Cork team for the Southern Region Area Board basketball tournament. Her team placed first in the tournament and she was chosen as tournament MVP.
Camogie
We would like to wish Stephanie D., 3A, the very best of luck as she plays on the U/16 Cork A Team in the All Ireland Camogie Final this Saturday against Galway. It’s a great achievement and we are all very proud of her.
