TY SPRING Project featured in The Echo.

Last Friday Charlotte Norton from Climeaction visited the school to speak with first year students about sustainability and the importance of climate action. Climeaction is a local company based on South Mall that works with businesses to develop strategies and drive climate solutions and emissions reduction.
The session introduced students to key topics such as understanding sustainability, climate change and emissions, the circular economy, and green skills. Charlotte also shared practical tips on ways everyone can contribute to a more sustainable future (as simple as reducing food waste by making banana bread with overripe bananas!).
The visit will hopefully inspire first years to think about our impact on the environment and empower them to make little changes that can lead to having a sustainable lifestyle and positive impact on the planet.
